RDP is Ventura County’s community-based organization
that advocates for and supports the county’s military
facilities and defense contractors as community assets and
essential to national defense.

Ventura County’s military commands and defense contractors, which total more
than 24,000 employees among military, federal, civilian, and contractor jobs and
generates about $4.6 billion annually to the regional economy.

It’s a working partnership that includes elected officials from the County of Ventura
and the 10 cities in the county, retired federal and state political leaders, senior military officials, defense contractors, local colleges and others.

RDP-21 supports, advocates, and facilitates among the military, private enterprise, and government to preserve Ventura County’s military assets and regional economy.
