One of RDP-21’s strategies involves the conduct of regional events focused such as Industry Days and Innovation Discovery Events (IDEs). These gatherings provide opportunities to communicate military technology needs while diversifying the use of military technologies to nonmilitary applications thereby serving as a catalyst for technology innovation. The creation of these collaborative industry partnerships serves as a catalyst for local economic development while increasing the military value of the Commands.
